ABOUT THE SCHOOL St. Mary’s Convent Sr. Sec. School is a Catholic Institution started in 1993. It is directed and managed by Bethany Sisters and educationalists. The school is founded with a great vision to uplift the community and society not only intellectually but also spiritually and morally. We are guided by sublime principles of genuine education. The emblem of the school is a symbolic expression of the great vision of St. Mary’s Convent Sr. Sec. School. Education is a process. It is a gradual growth, crowned in the fullness of human perfection and fulfilment. The outer design of the logo indicates this reality. The crown of peace, development and leadership is achieved through the cross of sacrifice and hard work. The dove is the symbol of Holy Spirit who is the seat of wisdom. The rays that radiate are the fruits of the Holy Spirit, namely, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of God. The computer and the book in the monitor shows the beautiful blend of both traditional and modern methods of education. The motto of the school “For God and Humanity” is inscribed in the same book. St. Mary’s Convent Sr. Sec. School and each person should be a lamp that shines in the world which is indicated by the little lamp in the logo.
